Aug 21 (Reuters) - British transport company Mobico (MCG.L) , opens new tab posted on Wednesday a 28.1% jump in its first-half profit, buoyed by passenger growth and higher pricing.

Mobico, the owner of National Express, logged an adjusted operating profit of 25.4 million pounds ($33.07 million) for the six-month period ended June 30.
