Gold has been down-trending since 16/06/2023. Recent sentiment for the dollar is getting stronger in expectation of a few more interest rate hikes from the feds.

From the chart, XAU/USD shows a short-term correction with Stochastic RSI indicating the pair is currently overbought. As long as the price remains below the SMA trend line, I see it as an opportunity for going short.
